The box weighs between 15 kg (Twin) and 29 kg (King) — two-person handling is recommended. Polysleep delivers in minimalist boxes made of recycled cardboard that are entirely compostable. A QR code on the box links to detailed instructions.
The box opens from the top, in a horizontal position, like a pizza box. No extra tools are provided — Polysleep intentionally avoids single-use plastic accessories.
Once taken out of the two plastic bags (scissors required), the mattress regains its shape in a few seconds. Full expansion takes 24 hours. No chemical odor detected.
Casper Element Mattress
The Casper Element is significantly heavier: 26 kg for a Full, up to 49 kg for a King. Two-person handling is essential. The box is printed with the brand's colors.
Unboxing includes an extra step compared to the Origin 2.0: the mattress is wrapped in a double plastic layer. The box opens easily on the side. It contains the mattress and a brand guide.

That being said, several important points are worth knowing before buying:
