How the 21-Day Polysleep Challenge Transformed Sleep Habits Across Canada

Sleep is one of the most important pillars of our health—yet it’s often the most neglected.

That’s where Polysleep stepped in.

To mark Sleep Awareness Month in March, we launched the 21-Day #PolysleepChallenge—a campaign designed to help our community build healthier sleep habits.

Little did we know it would become a total game-changer—not just for our team, but for our incredible community across Canada!

How It Worked

Starting March 1st, we invited our Polysleep family to commit to one of three healthy habits for 21 days straight:

  • 🏃♂️ Run or walk 2 km per day
  • 🧘♀️ Meditate for 10 minutes per day
  • 📵 Reduce screen time 1 hour before bed (read, draw, journal, etc.)

The Reward?

Everyone who completed the 21-day challenge received a FREE Sierra Pillow Bundle and was entered into a draw to win a Luna Mattress!

The Results? 🤯

But the real win was the incredible feedback and success stories we received from the community—across Canada!

What the Community Said

I really enjoyed the challenge. Seeing other participants' stories was motivating and encouraged me to keep going. Taking a moment for myself before bed allowed me to fall asleep more quickly because I was freeing myself from my thoughts. I'm generally an anxious person and I think a lot at night. This challenge helped me sort through and clear my mind.

The Polysleep Team Got Involved Too!

We didn’t just host the challenge—we joined in! Our team picked one of the three challenges, and those who completed all 21 days were entered into a draw to win a $100 Shop Santé gift card. (Total: $300 in prizes - Thanks Shop Santé!)

Throughout the month, we shared photos, videos, and words of encouragement in our internal Slack. The motivation and team spirit that was built was both unexpected and powerful!

The Polysleep challenge really had a huge impact in my life!! In this challenging month of March with the time change and crazy weather, this challenge made me take time for me, started reading religiously before bed, discovered I have talent for drawing, challenged me to do more than 200km of bike in a month when I had previously done 10km in the last 3 years, and made me discover my wonderful colleagues. This all resulted in a steady 8-hour sleep every night, being more productive at work and at home. Feeling in control of my life and being present physically and mentally is an incredible gift. Thank you @Kayla @Miska for making this happen! Now I need to get me some more Cwench.

I thought it was such a unique and creative initiative that really pushed everyone in our team to be better in some manner in their day-to-day life. I loved how we kept cheering each other on and motivated each other to keep going. I think just for myself, personally, I was in a little bit of a slump of not running because of the snow outside. And the challenge really put a fire under my butt to get out and get my runs done without giving myself an excuse. Honestly, just a really ingenious idea that was executed flawlessly in my eyes, not only internally within Polysleep but including our social media audience as well. Félicitations, @Kayla and @Miska!
