How to Find Your Soulmate if You Don't Online Date

Double Chevron Left Back to Wellness

Finding your soulmate can be a real challenge these days. If you’ve ever tried online dating in hopes that it will be easier to find your match but concluded it wasn’t for you, you are not alone.

Online dating can often look like a job interview and become very tiring. On top of that, when you want something serious, online dating might not always be the best place to find your soulmate.

You may be wondering, “when will I find my soulmate?” However, the better question may be “where will I find my soulmate?” And there’s nothing better than finding your soulmate in ‘real life.’ Here’s a guide on how to find your soulmate––even if you're in your thirties or above (no need to succumb to the anxiety of being in your thirties). Relax and give these ideas a chance.

#1: Have a blind date with friends

Take advantage of your circle of friends and ask them to invite someone they know, who could possibly be a good fit for you, to dinner. There are a lot of pros to letting your friends play matchmaker as they know you best and have maybe even pre-approved a future soulmate for you.

You can also get some other single friends to speed date with you. Speed dating is offered in most major cities, and with a friend, you're sure to have some fun. Even if you don't meet your soulmate, you'll at least make some good memories!

#2: Start a new hobby

How to find your soulmate while having fun? One way to find your soulmate outside of your circle of friends is by, first, leaving your memory foam mattress (even if you like sleeping very much, it shouldn't be your only occupation 😉), and then, starting a new hobby.

Why not try a new cooking class or join a hiking group? Chances are you might meet your soulmate trying to learn a new recipe or learning a new dance move. The possibilities are endless.

If you're going through a hard time, there's no better way to renew your energy than shaking your body or trying something new. If you happen to find your match through a hobby, you’ll immediately share a common interest.

#3: Travel alone

Finding your match might also happen by going on vacation…alone. If you are not comfortable with the idea, you can join a travel group or choose an operator that offers trips for singles.

Finding your match is not guaranteed but at least it will be an experience like no other!

#4: Go to social events after work

Grab a friend or colleague and hang out in a park or at a bar after work. Concerts are also a great outlet.

If you're comfortable enough, you can even go out alone. Just make sure to keep your eyes open for that possible special someone!

How to find your soulmate while being social after work? Another way is to attend some personal development workshops. Maybe join the communication workshop near you or the bitcoin lecture nearby. Chances are you will meet like-minded people and among them, your soulmate.

#5: Play or go watch some sports

Playing a team sport or attending a game can give you a chance to meet your soulmate. You can always strike up a conversation with your neighbor when you’re playing or watching. Plus, playing sports can lead to better sleep and a healthier lifestyle.

Check to see if there are any running groups, recreational sports leagues, or yoga classes in your area. Take a free trial session at different local gyms until you find the environment that feels the most comfortable. Who knows? Your soulmate could be in the world of sports.

#6: Have a walk and smile

Is it possible to randomly find your soulmate on the street? According to some dog owners, it absolutely is.

Dog owners get approached all the time when they're out for a walk with their dogs, and one smile is sometimes enough for them to find their soulmate.

If you don't have a dog, borrow one from your friends or your neighbor and take a few laps around the park.

You can also volunteer at a dog shelter and be on walk duty. Put on your nicest smile, and hopefully, someone may come up to you, pet the dog, and strike up a conversation. That someone could be your soulmate.

Stop wondering "when will I find my soulmate" and actually meet your soulmate by trying new things and be social. Be intentional and enjoy the process. Good luck on your quest for love!
